Abstract

The C_n^- abundance distributions for laser vaporization into a pulsed He stream reported by Hahn et al. (Chem. Phys. Letters 130 (1986) 12) in which C₆₀^- was not special are here contradicted by observation of a C_n^- distribution by laser vaporization where C₆₀^- is prominent.
