Abstract

"The behavioral disturbances of Alzheimer's disease and other dementias are reviewed, followed by a brief survey of the common research measurements used to assess these symptoms. The chapter concludes with a discussion of general treatment principles to aid clinicians in addressing the ongoing severe and complex behavioral symptoms of dementia.
