Given the complexity and challenges of Cushing's disease in both diagnosis and management, a multidisciplinary "Centers of Excellence" approach is essential to optimize patient care. In Chapter 8, we detail the rationale and the responsibilities of the key players of this team approach to Cushing's disease. We also discuss the other important roles of such Centers of Excellence in patient education, continuing medical education, and research in Cushing's disease.
