Rosemary Timmerman, DNP, APRN, CCNS, CCRN-CSC-CMC is a clinical nurse specialist (CNS) with over 40 years of critical care experience. Ms. Timmerman currently is the nurse scientist at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK and is an adjunct faculty member for the MSN program at the University of Providence. Ms. Timmerman received her doctorate in nursing practice from the University of South Alabama in 2015 and a master’s in nursing from Duquesne University in 2007. Dr. Timmerman has spoken about critical care nursing, quality improvement projects, and research studies at local, regional, and national conferences.

 
She has presented regionally and nationally on topics such as vasoactive medications, hyperglycemic emergencies, alcohol withdrawal syndrome and sepsis. Her recently published work includes “Managing Vasoactive Infusions to Restore Hemodynamic Stability,” in Nursing 2016 Critical Care, and the chapter “Vasoactive Medications” in “Hemodynamic Monitoring: Evolving Technologies and Clinical Practice” in 2016.
 
Timmerman earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice from University of South Alabama, Mobile, in 2015, a Master of Science in Nursing from Duquesne University School of Nursing, Pittsburgh, in 2007, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Mary of the Plains College, Dodge City, Kansas, in 1981.
